Limbavali meets Sibal on anomalies

Explaining the hardships faced by students due to this, Limbavali observed that the All India Council for Technical Education had been releasing a new list of intake every now and then causing confusion among the candidates and the colleges alike.

According to Limbavali, the AICTE first released a list of approved colleges and their intake on July 2.

It, however, did not finalise it and went on to release three more lists on July 18, 21 and August 1. What's more, it allotted twice the intake of a single course in a few colleges.

Five letters written to the AICTE on the issue had not elicited any response so far. The officials were not available over phone either, Limbavali maintained.
