ASP to verify Dalit youth's charges

It was alleged that the police from Peenya station had assauled Sona during their investigation with regard to a case of girl’s kidnap. Peenya police had registered a case of kidnap against Subhash, who is a resident of Kulai.

“Police team reached Kulai on Friday and assaulted Subhash’s relative Sona. Later, they came to my house and destroyed things. They also took photographs from my house,” alleged Subhash’s sister Sajani in a complaint. It was also alleged that a cop in the Surathkal police station too was involved in the incident of attack on Sona. She alleged that the corrupt cop is trying to put pressure on the department.

Girsh told Deccan Herald that he will take initiative to solve the case by holding discussion with families of Subhash and the girl, who was allegedly kidnapped. Since a case has been registered in the Peenya police station, police had to conduct inquiry.
