World at stake

In a parallel universe, where some things are forbidden and secrets abound, Lyra Belacque’s life is Jordan College changes when her uncle, Lord Asriel, mysteriously disappears during an expedition in the far North and her friend Roger is kidnapped by the evil Gobblers.

She befriends Mrs Coulter, an influential socialite, to go on a journey north only to realise that Mrs Coulter is not who she seems to be. Lyra now has to use the power of her golden compass to save not just her uncle and her friend, but the world at large.
