JOIN USThe incident took place on a road between Kairu and Chandawas village, about 40 km from here, when the jeep carrying 14 people collided with the mini-truck, they said.
While nine people -- six students, the teacher, conductor and the bus driver -- died on the spot, one student died during treatment in Rohtak medical college.
One of the injured is undergoing treatment in Bhiwani civil hospital, while three others have been admitted to Rohtak medical college.
The jeep was carrying 11 students from Kairu-based Adarsh Public School and Dilsukh Public School. The teacher belonged to Adarsh Public School.
Earlier, the police had said that a Bhiwani DPS school bus had collided with the mini-truck.
The police has registered a case against the mini-truck driver.
