Directed by S Narayan, who is known for his disciplined working style, the film has raised  expectations as Sudeep plays a role different from what he has done so far.  Veera Parampare is the first movie from Narayan-Sudeep combination and it stars Ambarish in a prominent role.

Producer Vijayalakshmi Singh has also acted after a long time in a varied role. The story revolves around a family which is respected by the entire village and tells the story of three generations belonging to that family.

“The film deals with social issues. I have developed this story from day-to-day happenings with most of the incidents inspired from newspaper cuttings,” says the director of the movie, S Narayan.  The film has been shot in the beautiful locales of Karnataka like Talakadu, Srirangapattana, Gokak, Bijapur and Kollegala.

“We shot the film for 75 days. One song has been picturised in Malaysia. Apart from the social message it carries, the film has extraordinary performances by all the actors. Especially by Ambarish and Sudeep who are doing challenging roles after a long time,” he says.

Narayan is also introducing to Sandalwood a Bengali actor called Sudipto, who plays a villain’s role in Veera Parampare. On Aindrita’s role, Narayan says, “Sudeep is very tall.

Where will I find a heroine as tall as him? The character is that of a modern girl and Aindrita has done justice to her role with her lively acting. The chemistry between her and Sudeep has worked out well on the screen,” he says.

The film has six songs and Narayan himself has scored music for the seventh time. The audio of the film is being released today.
