The AFI had named a pool of athletes for the relay teams on August 31, stating that the list would be pruned after September 15. According to AFI officials, the women’s 4x100M and men’s 4x400 runners are expected to go through Saturday’s trials. It will be the first for the men while for the girls, it will be their second run after last week’s routine at the Sports Authority of India campus.
