The district which was in the hold of Congress party earlier, has seen a drastic political change due to the dedicated and continuous works carried out by C T Ravi. Partial credit goes to Ravi for making BJP win 4 seats out of 5 in the last assembly elections. BJP has yet again proved its popularity by winning the 5th seat in the recently held byelection, he informed.
With all the developments, era of BJP has started in the district sidelining the Congress party’s dominance. The reason behind it is the plan and implementation works taken up by C T Ravi. Unfortunately, the State government has not placed the able MLA in right position which has blocked the development of the district, he said.
Chikmagalur district comprises of numerous problems including problems presiding over the labours, small farmers, coffee planters, Naxal crisis, Dutta peeta issue and cry over forest land. C T Ravi is a MLA who is aware of all the problems and so in every aspect he is the right person to be in the ministerial cadre, he put forth.
Further, he said that there is a necessity for the BJP leaders and MLAs to discuss the matter and thereby compel the government in this regard.
