Briefing reporters, Tenneco Automotive India Pvt Ltd Managing Director Abhijit Mukherjee said, “we are planning to expand our footprint in India by setting up of new facilities or strengthening existing facilities.”
The company, which has strong presence in passenger car segment, has delivered its products to cars including Polo, Figo and Ritz. Apart from passenger car segment Tenneco believes that the technology from recently acquired suspension business of Marzocchi, will enhance its presence in the two-wheeler segment.
The company which has invested over $20 million is planning to invest an equal amount in next three years.
