Participating in the meeting, Legislator V Muniyappa called upon the religious leaders to ensure peace and help maintain law and order situation in the taluk.
Tahsildhar Mallikarjun, Circle Inspector P Narasimha Murthy, TP Executive Officer Amarnath briefed the participants about the arrangements made to ensure peace.
After the meeting, the officials and leaders took out a procession through the main roads of the taluk and formed a human chain at the Kote Circle as a mark of harmony.

The participants assembled at the Tourists Bungalow and took a procession through M G Road, Doddapete Circle, Ammavaripete Circle and formed a human chain at the Mekke Circle.
