Addressing a press meet here, he said the Janata Dal (Secular) would stage a protest on September 27 to urge the district administration to withdraw allotment of land made to the golf club.

The huge and a prime land in the city was being let to the pleasure game of a few rich individuals, he said.

Manju said MLA Sa Ra Mahesh would lead the protest on the day.
Demand
“We have been demanding for the withdrawal of the land for nearly a year now.
“But, the administration has been silent on the issue,” he added.
