JOIN USWe will amend government bill, not withdraw it. The Congress does not have the absolute majority required to pass the bill. Following discussion, the bill would be referred to a standing committee. On the lines of the Lokayukta, the central government could only recommend to the state governments, who would then have to enact the bill, by passing appropriate legislation.
