Amid rising Omicron cases, hordes of tourists throng Shimla for New Year

A record number of tourists have reportedly thronged popular tourist spot Shimla to ring in the New Year while the nation is reeling under the rising Covid-19 cases and Omicron threat. From the famous Ridge to Mall Road, tourists in large numbers were spotted across the popular holiday spot.
