BJP will sweep Assembly polls: Kateel

Predicting a clean sweep victory for BJP in the upcoming elections, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that the election results will prove to be a stepping stone towards making India a Congress-free nation.

Speaking during the inauguration of the BJP election office near Bunts Hostel Circle in Mangaluru on Thursday, he said there is no confusion among the BJP workers. “Confusion is among those who have been campaigning extensively through social networking sites through their homes. In fact, BJP is in touch with people at the grassroots level. It is true that we are facing the elections on the basis of Hindutva. But, we are not implementing the divide and rule policy,” he said.

Nalin further said that soon after the completion of the filing of nominations, many senior leaders will come to BJP and after the elections are over, the Congress office will wear a deserted look.

Former MLA Rukmaya Poojary said that Congress will pay the price for its divide and rule politics and false propaganda on BJP during its regime in Karnataka.” The state government has carried out hate politics to the highest extent in the state during its reign which is unseen in the history of the nation. The state government has squandered away public money to conducting ‘Sadhana Samavesha’, which is meant for the canvassing of the Congress party.”

Veteran BJP leaders Seetaram Bangera, Somnath Karkera and Kumble Sundar Rao inaugurated the BJP election office.

BJP State deputy spokesperson Sulochana G K Bhat, former members of Legislative Assembly Kumble Sunder Rao, District BJP vice president Ravishankar Mijar, Mangaluru South BJP president Vedavyas Kamath and Kerala BJP general secretary and district in-charge Surendran were present.
