District Congress warns of stern action

District Congress in-charge K Manjunath Bhandary has warned of initiating strict action against those who cause embarrassment to the party.

“There may be some people who are disappointed because of missing the ticket to contest in the election. But this does not mean they can issue statements against the official candidate, take out processions or express their discomfiture before the media. This will attract stern action for anti-party activities,” he said in a press release.

Every worker of the party has the right to apply for the ticket in a democracy and it is the prerogative of the party to give the ticket. All the party workers should strive towards the victory of the party candidates, he said in the release.
