Energy Minister D K Shivakumar, who is also the state publicity commitee in charge, expressed confidence of the Congress winning the upcoming Assembly elections.

Speaking at the Congress workers meet, where former minister Gangadhar Gowda joined the Congress here at Belthangady on Wednesday, he said, “A country cannot have a single caste and religion. For the unity of the country, the voters should support the Congress.”

The Congress believes in development work and has not given any scope for corruption, he added.
