Minister Khader does not own even a single vehicle

When the sitting MLAs and former MLAs boast of owning high-end cars and jewels worth several lakhs of rupees, U T Khader, a three-time MLA from Mangaluru constituency does not own a car and even a piece of jewellery, according to the affidavit filed by him while filing nomination papers from Mangaluru constituency.

Khader owns movable property worth Rs 41,26,804 while his wife has movable assets worth Rs 28,68,763.39. However, his wife has a car which was gifted to her by her father in 2002, and another car purchased in 2009. She possesses 500 gram gold worth Rs 12 lakh, given to her during marriage by her father in 2002.

Bava’s assets

Mohiuddin Bava, Congress candidate from Mangaluru City North constituency, has movable assets worth Rs 10,80,13,882 while his wife owns movable assets worth Rs 4,13,16,553. He has immovable property worth Rs 8,26,20,555 while his wife owns immovable property worth Rs 3,75,86,952.

Kotian’s assets

BJP candidate from Moodbidri Umanath Kotian has movable assets worth Rs 30.2 lakh while his wife has movable assets worth Rs 21,10,458. His children have movable assets worth Rs 5,86,053 and 1,67,400 respectively.

Harish Poonja

Harish Poonja, the BJP candidate from Belthangady has movable assets worth Rs 1,70,49,323 while his wife has movable assets worth Rs Rs 36,88,607.
