<p>The 27-year-old actress said she had no apprehensions about nude scenes and found working on the new movie with Jake Gyllenhaal as a "loving and open experience", reported MTV News.<br /><br />"I don't think there's anything wrong with nudity in films and I would hope that any actor who is asked to reveal that part of themselves has as loving and open experience as we had," said Hathaway.<br /><br />'Love & Other Drugs' revolves around a Viagra salesman who falls for a woman with a dark secret.<br /><br />Hathaway and Gyllenhaal had long discussions about the decision to bare all on the Ed Zwick-directed movie and decided to entrust themselves in his hands because they felt he wouldn't be "exploitative".<br /><br />"Jake and I talked about it and we talked with Ed about it and we said, 'You know, we're gonna do what we feel comfortable. Let's talk about the story we hope to tell through these scenes.'<br /><br />"Then once we kind of decided how we feel about it, we said, 'Ed, please shoot it as you see fit,' knowing that Ed is not an exploitative person," said Hathaway.<br /><br />The 'Princess Diaries' star said that they were allowed to choose which scene to cut and which to keep during the editing process.<br /><br />"At the end, we were shown the scenes that Ed had cut and we were given full license to say, 'I don't like this, I do like this, I think this shot feels a little linger-y to me.' As a result, it became this organic process," she added.</p>
