<p>The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday questioned the sister of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide, in connection with a money laundering case.</p>.<p>The statement of Priyanka Singh was recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act by the ED officials in the national capital.</p>.<p>The questioning of Priyanka came against the backdrop of the ED obtaining information related to Sushant's finances and personal and professional life that she was privy to. Officials said this would help them take the investigations forward.</p>.<p>The ED had in July filed a case of money laundering against Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family in connection with the Sushant's death. The actor's family had accused Rhea of abetting his suicide and misappropriating his wealth.</p>.<p>The case was based on the FIR filed by Sushant's father Krishna Kumar Singh with Bihar Police in Patna accusing Rhea and her family of unexplained transfer of money from the actor's account. The father had also accused Rhea of pushing Sushant to suicide on June 14 in his Bandra residence.</p>.<p>Earlier, the agency had recorded the statements of Sushant's father K K Singh and another sister Meetu Singh.</p>.<p>Filmmaker Rumi Jaffery was also questioned in Mumbai by ED officials about his plans of directing a movie with the late actor and the finances involved in this upcoming project.</p>.<p>The agency has also questioned Rhea Chakraborty, Showik, Indrajit Chakraborty, Rajput's business managers, chartered accountants, house workers, accountant Rajat Mewati, and Siddharth Pithani in the case.</p>
