The couple's son Zachary, who was born on Christmas Day via a surrogate mother, has got the 25-year-old singer as the godmother, reported the Us magazine.
John and Furnish feel that Lady Gaga will be the right influence on Zachary's life and help him navigate in the world of showbiz.
"Yes, yes she is..When you get to the real person under there, there's a real simple person under there who loves her parents," said John.
Film producer Furnish added, "Zachary's going to inherit an incredible musical legacy from his father one day, and she will be a good person to guide him through the ins and outs of the music business, 'cause she sure knows everything about the business now."
