Assam-Mizoram border dispute: ‘Want permanent peaceful settlement,’ says Pijush Hazarika

The Spokesperson of Assam Government, Pijush Hazarika said that the state govt seeks a permanent peaceful settlement of border dispute with neighbouring Mizoram. “We want that our land remains with us and their land remains with them. Central Govt should come up with a solution and we will welcome that,” he added. Hazarika also appreciated the Mizoram Government for withdrawing FIR against CM Himanta Biswa Sarma over the violent border clash.
