A branch manager of Central Bank of India in Buldhana district of Vidarbha region in Maharashtra has been accused of seeking sexual favours from a woman in return for a loan.

The incident took place on Friday morning at Datala village in Malkapur tehsil.

According to the complaint, the woman's husband, a farmer, had sought a loan from the bank.

However, branch manager Rajesh Hiwase sought the details of his wife to be filled in an application form and further process it.

He later called up the woman and demanded sexual favours. Later, he also sent a peon to the applicant's house.

The woman recorded the conversation and later filed a complaint with the police. The branch manager and the peon are absconding.
