<p>Patna: Prime Minister <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/narendra-modi">Narendra Modi</a> will visit Bihar once again on May 4, his second visit in the last ten days. Last time, when he was in the state, on April 24, he gave a stern message to the world that those who were involved in the terror attack at Pahalgam would face a “punitive action beyond their imagination.”</p><p>Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the ‘Khelo India Youth Games’ at Patliputra’s Sports Complex here in the State Capital on May 4.</p><p>“Besides, the Prime Minister will launch several development projects during his one-day visit,” said former Bihar BJP president and Health Minister in the Nitish Cabinet, Mangal Pandey.</p>.Pahalgam attack: Blood of every Indian boiling, victims will definitely get justice, says PM Modi.<p><strong>Well-crafted plan</strong></p><p>Though the function is a non-political event, the BJP plans PM’s visit in the poll-bound Bihar in such a way that it could have its cascading effect in the run-up to the elections, which will be held in October and November this year.</p><p>Devoid of any charismatic leader in the Bihar BJP, particularly after the death of its longest-serving Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi, the BJP has no one else other than to fall upon its tallest leader, Narendra Modi, to romp home.</p><p>Modi too is keen on visiting Bihar at the drop of a hat, precisely because he has plans up his sleeves where he wants to install a BJP-led Government in a State which has so far failed to have a BJP CM.</p><p>“It was Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who made a request to the Prime Minister to inaugurate the Khelo India Youth Games during the PM’s visit to Bihar on April 24. The PM gave his nod to inaugurate the sports event, which will be held from May 4 to May 15,” said Bihar Dy CM and senior BJP leader Samrat Choudhary.</p>.<p><strong>Poll Matrix</strong></p><p>The BJP is leaving no stone unturned in Bihar precisely because during the last 2020 Assembly elections, when Modi and Nitish were together, still the RJD emerged as the single largest party, although the latter-led alliance could not form the Government as it was marginally short of the magic number of 122 in the 243-member House.</p><p>Now that the Leader of the Opposition and former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has stitched a formidable INDIA alliance and is himself heading the poll coordination committee, the BJP too is girding up its loin to face its strong opponent in this part of the cow-belt, which, like previous occasion, is likely to see a nail-biting finish at the hustings.</p>
