The war of words between the ruling Janata Dal-United (JD-U) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) became more intense when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that the terrorists who carried out serial blasts in Patna just ahead of the BJP’s Hoonkar rally actually helped Narendra Modi hog the limelight.

.
“Inn atankwadiyon ne itna hype dila diya (These terrorists helped BJP get so much of hype)… otherwise the rally, which was being forecast to break all world records, would have been a flop show,” Nitish averred while launching an uncharacteristic attack on his erstwhile partner. The JD-U strongman also slammed the BJP for “shamelessly indulging in spreading falsehood.”

“I was charged that I have not met the victims but the fact is that I did visit the hospital on October 27 late night to enquire about those undergoing treatment.
