A CPIM worker was stabbed to death by bike-borne miscreants in Kasaragod district on Sunday.
Abubakar Siddique (21), a DYFI activist from Uppala was attacked by unknown persons in Majeshwaram around 11 pm on Sunday.
Though locals rushed him to a private hospital in Mangaluru, he was declared brought dead.
A search operation is on to nab the culprits.
CPIM Kasaragod district secretary M V Balakrishnan said the RSS and BJP were behind the murder. The party also called for a dawn to dusk hartal (bandh) in Manjeshwaram taluk.
