The intensity of Cyclone Biparjoy has decreased, as mentioned by Manorama Mohanty, MET Director. Meanwhile the cyclone brought heavy rainfall to Rajasthan's Jalore, Barmer. Biparjoy, on Thursday, made landfall near Jakhau Port in Gujarat's Kutch district with over one lakh people living near the coast getting evacuated as a precaution and disaster management units were deployed for rescue and relief measures.
