<p>Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar compared the Chennai meeting on delimitation to a "gathering of a crime syndicate" and called it reminiscent of Chambal Valley and "a meeting of a gang of thieves."</p><p>After inspecting the crops damaged by untimely rains in Chamanpalli, Karimnagar, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, on Saturday talking to reporters criticised the meeting chaired by Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin in Chennai under the pretext of delimitation, calling it a gathering of a "gang of looters." </p><p>“The parties participating in this meeting are those caught in liquor scams. Even the Stalin government was involved in a Rs 1,000 crore liquor scam. People are fed up with Stalin’s administration. Similarly, in Telangana, corruption and fraud under the guise of ‘six guarantees’ have made people detest the Congress,” he said.</p>.Delimitation: Southern states demand another 25-year freeze on Lok Sabha seats.<p>He alleged that the BRS party is working alongside Congress solely to escape corruption scams from the last ten years. “This once again proves that both parties are the same,” he remarked. He further accused these parties of engaging in selfish politics by falsely claiming that the Modi government is discriminating against South India in the name of delimitation. He clarified that the Central Government has not made any decision on delimitation and has not even formulated guidelines. He criticized the opposition parties for spreading baseless claims, likening their stance to building castles in the air - no foundation, yet grand claims.</p><p>Sanjay further strongly condemned the nature of the delimitation meeting held in Chennai under DMK’s leadership. He alleged that the meeting was organized to cover up their loot and escape corruption charges. He reiterated that the delimitation process would not lead to a reduction in parliamentary seats in South India, a fact already clarified in Parliament by Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh.</p><p>He emphasized that the Central Government has not taken any decision on delimitation and slammed opposition parties for attempting to incite regional hatred by making baseless allegations of injustice to South India. He asserted that no matter what conspiracies are hatched, the BJP’s influence will continue to grow in the South. He confidently stated that the BJP would come to power in Telangana as well.</p><p>Bandi Sanjay Kumar reaffirmed that once the BJP assumes power in Telangana, it will fulfill its promises of providing quality education and healthcare free of cost to the underprivileged.</p><p>Bandi Sanjay Kumar also mocked former minister K T Rama Rao for claiming that KCR is set to play a crucial role in national politics again. “He made similar statements during the Maharashtra elections. He sent bags of money before the last Assembly elections, boasting about changing national politics. And what happened? The same KCR, who once claimed to lead national politics, is now plucking grass in his farmhouse. His dreams of playing a role in national politics are nothing but an illusion,” he quipped.</p>
