<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The 2G special court on Thursday said the high-profile nature of a case cannot be used as grounds for holding people guilty without legal evidence.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">"The prosecution cannot absolve itself of its burden to prove its case by piggy-riding on the so-called high magnitude of the case and media hype," special judge O P Saini said.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The court brushed aside a plea by special public prosecutor Anand Grover that it is a case of high political corruption.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">"The trope of high magnitude of the crime does not work at the final stage of the case. There, legally admissible evidence is required," the court said.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The trial court rejected CBI's contention that over Rs 200 crore was transferred by Dynamix Realty to Kalaignar TV through Kusegaon Fruits and Vegetables (P) Ltd, saying it was a transaction between private entities, where objectivity and rationality cannot be found.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">"Lack of commercial prudence in execution of documents cannot be used as a ruse to hold people guilty of corruption," it said.</p>
