Droupadi Murmu takes oath as 15th President of India

President-elect Droupadi Murmu took oath as 15th President of India on July 25. Chief Justice of India NV Ramana administered the oath of office and secrecy to Droupadi Murmu.

Murmu is the first tribal woman to hold the highest Constitutional post in the country. Several Union Ministers along with PM Modi were present on the occasion.
