<p>New Delhi: In a fierce response to the western neighbour’s provocative actions, Indian armed forces have struck hard at eight Pakistan Air Force establishments including the top-line Chaklala (Nur Khan) base with precision ammunition, officials said here on Saturday.</p><p>“Pakistan military targets at Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahimyar Khan, Sukkur and Chunian were engaged using air launched precision weapons from fighter aircraft. Radar sites at Pasrur and Sialkot aviation base were also targeted using precision ammunition,” IAF officer Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said.</p><p>She said Indian forces carried out precision attacks on ‘identified military targets’ and ensured minimum collateral damage.</p>.India agrees on ceasefire with Pakistan, contradicts US claims of mediation.<p>"After Pakistan deliberately targeted our air bases, Indian armed forces took a quick and well-planned retaliatory action and targeted their technical installations, command & control centres, radar sites and arms store,” Indian Army’s Col Sofiya Qureshi said.</p><p>Addressing the media after the ceasefire announcement, the two officers said Pakistan suffered heavy losses in land and air because of the Indian responses.</p><p>“Pakistan suffered very heavy and unsustainable losses after it has given us an unprovoked attack on our installation. Across the LoC, extensive and precise damage on military infrastructure, command and control centres and logistics installation led to complete breakdown of its offensive and defensive capabilities and morale,” she said.</p><p>Wg Cdr Singh and Col Qureshi asserted that Indian actions were responses to continuing provocative action by Pakistan military that launched drone attacks, carried out air intrusion and resorted to heavy artillery firing along the LoC.</p><p>“Along the International Border and LoC, air intrusion and several harassment attacks were attempted at 26 locations from Srinagar till Naliya. Also several high speed missile attacks were noticed last night targeting several air bases at Punjab,” Wg Cdr Singh said.</p>.'Pray this is the last time': Jammu & Kashmir border residents hope for lasting peace after sudden ceasefire.<p>“While most of the threats have been neutralised by Indian forces, limited damage was sustained for equipment and personnel at Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur and Bhuj.”</p><p>Col Qureshi said Pakistan attacked medicare centres and schools at the air bases at Srinagar, Awantipur and Udhampur in yet another display of irresponsible behaviour targeting Indian civilian infrastructure.</p><p>The two officers also pointed out that the Pakistan military was seen moving their troops into forward areas indicating offensive intent to further escalate the situation. “Indian armed forces remain in a high state of operational readiness and all hostile actions will be effectively countered,” Wg Cdr Singh said.</p><p>“We remain fully operationally ready to launch whatever operations that may be required in defence of the nation. Every misadventure by Pakistan will be met with strength and every future escalation will invite a decisive response,” said Commodore Raghu Nair.</p>
