India Politics Highlights| People of Manipur deserve a responsible and competent government: Congress Manipur MP
Hello readers! AAP on Saturday suffered a heavy defeat in the Assembly elections in Delhi, paving the way for the BJP to come to power in the national capital after nearly three decades. Delhi CM Atishi on Sunday then resigned from her post, while deliberations are under way in the BJP to pick its CM face. BJP's winner from the New Delhi constituency, from which Arvind Kejriwal contested, also met the Delhi L-G amid speculation over the saffron party's CM face. On Sunday, Manipur CM Biren Singh tendered his resignation hours after his meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. Singh's resignation comes a day before beginning of the Assembly session in which Congress was planning to move a no-confidence motion against his government. That's all for today.
