Indian Politics Highlights: '140 crore people my family,' says PM Modi in Chennai on opposition 'no family' jibe.

Hello readers. The day began with BJP launching the "Modi Ka Parivar" campaign to counter RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav's personal attack on PM Modi, in which the RJD chief said the Prime Minister has no family. Top BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party chief J P Nadda, added "Modi ka parivar" to their social media handles. PM Modi also kicked off his whirlwind tour of 12 states with his first visit to Telangana where he addressed a public meet and exuded confidence that the NDA would secure 400 seats. Speaking at a rally in Adilabad, Modi also slammed opposition parties as "dynastic" and said they may have different faces but "jhoot" and "loot" were common to their character. In the evening, PM Modi witnessed the initiation of core loading at the Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) in Tamil Nadu's Kalpakkam and addressed a pubic meet in Chennai. He said the opposition INDIA bloc's "new formula" to abuse him is to say he does not have a family but the people have rejected it by chanting in one voice that they belong to Modi's family. Without naming Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Chief Minister M K Stalin, Modi, in his address at the BJP's rally here, said the Supreme Court posed the DMK Minister "tough questions." Modi alleged that "insulting" the faith of crores of people is an identity of the dynasts. Thank you for being with DH. We will get you more political updates from across India tomorrow.

My family is this country, 140 countrymen...Jiska koi nahi wo bhi Modi Ke hai aur Modi unka hai. Mere Bharat mera Parivaar and that's why the entire country is saying today that 'Main Hoon Modi ka Parivaar'..." he said.
