<p>An Indian woman living in New York expressed her disappointment with the strength of the Indian passport being very minimal. </p><p>Anisha Arora, was on a flight which got delayed. Due to the delay, she missed her connecting flight and was stranded in Frankfurt where she said that she was forced to spend the night in a small hotel while those with American passport holders were put up in a five-star facility. </p><p>In a video posted on Instagram, Anisha, who is an avid blogger lamented over the drawbacks of being an Indian passport holder.</p>.<p>In the video, she pans the camera around the room to give the viewers an idea of how small the accommodation was. </p><p>“I never really cared about my passport until now,” Anisha said in her video.</p><p>“My flight from Frankfurt got missed because the connecting flight got delayed,” Anisha explained, adding: “So while other passengers are getting free stays at five star hotels and free breakfast and dinners, I am stuck in this stupid capsule.”</p><p>For the records, India ranks 82nd on the Henley Passport Index, well below the US at the 10th spot.</p><p>The Henley Passport Index is a global ranking of countries according to the travel freedom allowed by those countries' ordinary passports for their citizens.</p><p>Anisha, rued the fact that American citizens could use the 20 hours delay to explore the city of Frankfurt as they had a Schengen visa.</p><p>“Any other US citizen in my position would have been so happy because they just got free everything and 20 hours to explore a new country, but not me because I have an Indian passport,” said Anisha.</p>
