"The IT investments in the state which suffered a decline in the recent months due to various agitations (relating to the Telangana Movement) are improving gradually," he told reporters here today.

To a query on the alleged hold Andhra Pradesh's mining lobby had on Karnataka, he said "they (Reddy brothers -- G Janardhana Reddy and G Karunakara Reddy) have mines in the AP region. But they are operating (politically) in Karnataka."

The UPA Government at the Centre was taking cognisance of the matter, Rosaiah, who was felicitated at a function here, added.

Asked for his response to political developments in Karnataka, he quipped "I am only a one-day visitor to the state. It is not befitting on my part to comment on it".

Rosaiah said the Central Government's decision on the basis of recommendations of Justice Sri Krishna Committee would be final on the Telengana issue.
