<p>A 24-hour vigil is being maintained throughout the state, especially the coastal areas and Bangalore, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa told reporters after a high-level security meeting attended by Home Minister R Ashoka and the state's top police officials.<br /><br />Ashoka said security measures in the state were reviewed during the meeting. All police personnel on leave have been asked to report back on duty.<br /><br />All coastal areas like Mangalore, Udupi have been asked to provide inputs on an hourly basis, he said.<br /><br />Patrolling units like the 'Hoysala' and 'Cheetah' have been deployed. Units of the bomb disposal squad and anti-terrorist squad have been asked to maintain constant vigil.<br /><br />Police have also been asked to maintain a watch on banned outfits, Ashoka said, adding that IT companies in the state have also been asked to maintain a constant vigil.<br /><br />Police have also been asked to maintain vigil on spots where blasts had occurred in the past, including Chinnaswamy stadium, and the Indian Institute of Science where in a terror attack in December 2005 a IIT professor was killed when gunmen opened fire.</p>
