The fourth additional sessions court has sentenced two people to life imprisonment on the charges of murder.
The convicts, Iqbal Kavoor and Farooq Karkala had murdered Santhu alias Santhosh on February 18, 2009, near Polali.
The court has also slapped a fine of Rs 1 lakh on the convicts. The Bantwal police had arrested 22 people and submitted a charge sheet to the court.
