<p>Tremors felt in villages in Sedam taluk</p>.<p>An earthquake measuring 3.4 on Richter scale was recorded in Karnataka;s Kalaburagi district. Tremors were felt in Benakanahalli, Donagaon, Kodla, Rajoli and surrounding villages of Sedam taluk between 9:48 and 10:00 am on Wednesday as panicked residents rushed out of their homes.</p>.<p>Speaking to DH, Benakanahalli villager Hanumant said that a house has developed cracks due to the tremors and that these tremors were caused due to fire and explosion hazards that arise during the process of cement manufacturing.</p>.<p>The cement manufacturing unit is situated adjacent to the village.</p>
