Agrovision summit in Belgaum from Feb 21

Agrovision, the agriculture summit held in Central India (Nagpur) every year to strengthen the farming sector and improve the individual financial condition of farmers, is now coming down to South India.

The Southern edition will be held in Belgaum from February 21 to 23, 2015. 

The three-day knowledge and technology exhibition on farm practices and food processing will be held in association with the Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA). The event is aimed at small-scale industries, entrepreneurs and farmers to assimilate the latest products, services and technology in agriculture and the allied sectors.

The organisers expect industry/corporate representatives, government organisations, policy makers, academia and farmers, small-scale industries, consumers, etc to attend the expo. 

It will showcase the best of cutting-edge farm technologies from both India and abroad, latest innovative measures to increase crop productivity, soil testing techniques, harnessing farm produce from lab to land and agricultural extension practices such as food processing and the related sectors. 

Apart from the exhibition, Agrovision South will also have a one-day conference on small-scale industries. Besides, B2B meetings will be facilitated and workshops held on all the three days.
