<p>The Department of Communication Studies of the Mount Carmel College, will host a two-day event discussing the intersection of poetry and resistance. </p>.<p>Titled ‘<em>Discourses ’25: Poetic Trails</em>’, it will be held on February 14 and 15. </p>.<p>Renowned rapper, songwriter Arivarasu Kalainesan, also known as Arivu, will be the keynote speaker on the inaugural day. The panellists include poet, publisher, educator Ralph Nazareth and the award-winning Tibetan activist and writer Tenzin Tsundue.</p>.<p>Speakers on the second day include poet, author and professor Kala Krishnan and poet, scholar and translator Mani Rao.
