Skywalks and pedestrian crossing facilities such as sub-ways and underpasses are not being used by the pedestrians.<br /><br />A Mount Carmel college student was recently mowed down while crossing the road after jumping a median. The police took the violators into custody when they were jumping the median and trying to cross the roads.<br /><br />They were produced before court, slapped a penalty of Rs 100 and released after paying the fine amount.</p>
