<p>Bengaluru: Bengaluru Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths have arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly peddling drugs in western Bengaluru’s Byadarahalli. </p>.<p>The CCB arrested M Jacob, from Andhra Pradesh and a resident of D-Group Layout near Lingadheeranahalli in western Bengaluru, seizing contraband worth Rs 10 lakh. The seizures include 52 grams of MDMA crystals, five grams of ecstasy pills, and 98 grams of hydro ganja. </p>.<p>According to the police, Jacob used to buy drugs from foreign nationals for a nominal price and sell them to college students and IT employees at high rates.</p>.Couple, friend held for Rs 6 crore fraud in Bengaluru.<p>The CCB’s Anti Narcotics Wing (ANW) officers received a tip-off and caught Jacob on January 22, police sources said.</p>.<p>Jacob joined a BBA course in a city college in 2019, but discontinued subsequently. At college, he got acquainted with someone who introduced him to drug peddling, according to the police.</p>.<p>A Bengaluru court has remanded Jacob to judicial custody.</p>
