66 nominations rejected

As many as 66 nomination papers were rejected out of the 1,932 affidavits that were scrutinised in two of the four election zones on Wednesday. The nominations were rejected mostly on the basis of errors in the papers.  From Bangalore (North), of the 795 nomination papers 23 candidates were rejected, while from Bangalore (Central), of the 1,137 nomination papers 43 were rejected on account of various factors.
