That was a bad phase of my life. Coming out of it was difficult. That was a period of time when I realised who would actually help me out and who wouldn’t. Though I was not in a state to look after myself, still choosing to see a counsellor, eating healthy and taking care of myself on my own had a great impact on my life. The main motive behind getting a Buddha tattoo inked was the hope that I will find some peace in my life with it. She says, “My latest tattoo is the most unique one, it is a tattoo inspired by the book I read — ‘The Nightingale and the Rose’ by Oscar Wilde, which is a story about how there is always someone who makes sacrifices for us. I have another tattoo inspired by one of my other reads ‘The Kite Runner’, and the special thing about it is that my mother and I got the same tattoo done on the same day. I believe that tattoos are something that someone literally takes with them to their grave.” Being a tattoo artist, it is a special feeling to ink people with memories that they will cherish forever.” <br /></p>
