<p>She says she never aspired to be a singer and neither trained herself to be one, but Vaishali Mhade made a dream debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani for which she sung two numbers and even got nominated under the ‘Upcoming female vocalist of the year’ and ‘Female vocalist of the year’ categories at the Mirchi Music Awards 2016.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“I just went with the flow and things started going well for me. The only thing in my control was to work hard for it, which I have done, and still doing,” says Made, who sung Fitoori and Pinga (with Shreya Ghoshal) in the Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh-starrer.<br /><br />She adds that it was a huge opportunity for her to bag such a project. “I am very lucky that after so many years of hard work and waiting, I got an opportunity, and that too with the top two actresses of Bollywood, along with one of the top singers of Bollywood,” the singer, who hails from Amravati in Maharashtra, tells Metrolife.<br /><br />While Made, who won Zee TV’s reality series Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, sung two songs, Fitoori does not feature in the film. It is however a part of the music album. On the other hand, Pinga features both Chopra and Padukone, a fact she says she was aware of as the film had been in news for the long time.<br /><br />But she says that Pinga was no cakewalk and she faced her share of challenges while recording it. “I did face a few challenges during the recording. I won’t say it was tough, but the song is in a different mood completely and is a breathless song. Right from the first line to the line Pinga Re Poori, it is in one breath and this was the biggest challenge for me,” she says.<br /><br />With a list featuring actresses Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Alia Bhatt, whom Made would love to lend her voice to, the singer says she looks forward to working with composers like Pritam, Amit Trivedi , AR Rahman and Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.<br /><br />On her choice of songs, she says, “I love to sing romantic and folk songs. Actually, all kind of songs connected to Indian music really touch my heart and create an impact. So I would love to be a part of all types of genres. This way it also helps me fulfil my urge <br />to try out new things and learn more.”<br /><br />But, without her success in the reality show, would it have been difficult for her to get <br />a breakthrough in theindustry?<br /><br />“Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has always been a good platform for new comers who come from small towns and cities. I mean there are no facilities, no exposure and no way to get into the industry for people from such areas, and thus getting an opportunity like this is like a blessing. Yes, I would have had to work harder to get such a project without Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. So in all, this platform has helped me, and so many others, wanting to make it big,” she says.</p>
