Avoid Richmond Road for two days

“The road suddenly developed a crack on Friday. Fortunately, no mishaps occurred,” said Ninge Gowda, a BWSSB assistant executive engineer. He said the manhole on the stretch was filled with loose soil, making it difficult for the workers to fix the problem. “They can’t even lay pipelines here,” Ninge Gowda added. The trench became wider even as the workers tried to fill it. Traffic will be diverted on the stretch for the next two to three days, till the completion of the repair work.
