A Baldwin's school has filed a complaint against a parent who staged a protest at the school in the city last week.

Vijay Kumar Koujalagi, principal of Baldwin Co-Education Extension High School in R R Nagar, has filed the complaint, saying the parent, Murali, behaved inappropriately on the school premises during the distribution of textbooks.

The complaint also said that Murali instigated other parents to stage a protest over collecting fees for the textbooks at the school and misbehaved at the reception desk.

A group of parents protested over exorbitant fees collected for textbooks and complained that the school did not disclose the list of textbooks, despite repeated requests. They also insisted that the school had bought the books from a particular book seller.
