Banashankari electric crematorium to be shut from April 6-16: BBMP

Bengaluru: The electric crematorium at Banashankari will remain closed from April 6 to 16 for repair works, according to a communiqué released by the BBMP's South Zone. There are 12 electric crematoriums in the city.    

With the closure of the crematorium, which generally sees around seven cremations a day, the Wilson Garden or Guddadahalli crematoriums in Chamarajapet will be the closest to south Bengaluru.
