<p>Bengaluru: In the wake of the robbery at a local brewery in Malleswaram, establishments across the city claimed they have tight security in place that did not require any upgrade.</p>.<p>Ajit Rai, manager of a craft kitchen and bar in JP Nagar, told DH that their outlet has two security guards on duty in the morning and night shifts. "We have hired them from private security agencies, and police patrols happen regularly," he said. "We are not currently planning to beef up security, and we handle cash management ourselves."</p>.Bengaluru: It is business as usual in the neighbourhood, but rumours abound among locals.<p>A manager from a popular chain of breweries in Kalyan Nagar said they have a more extensive set-up.</p>.<p>"We have round-the-clock security — two guards at night and one in the morning, along with other staff," he said. The premises are also under constant surveillance with 35 cameras. "CCTVs cover the entire area, both inside and outside, as per police requirements," added the owner.</p>.<p>Despite these measures, insider threats remain a concern, the owner admitted.</p>.<p>"Ninety percent of the time, these incidents happen in collusion with staff familiar with the security system. They either turn off the cameras or redirect them before committing the act," he noted.</p>.<p>The owner of another popular brewery in Koramangala said, "I have installed an in-built alarm system that goes off in case of a break-in. I had to invest a lot, but it is worth it."</p>
