<p> Three people were robbed of their gold ornaments in two incidents in Rajagopalanagar police limits on Sunday morning, in a span of ten minutes.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to the police, two bike-borne men snatched away gold valuables from Marribette Gowda and his wife, residents of Brindavan Layout, who were on their way to a temple in Nelamanagala, around 4.45 am. <br /><br />Threatened at knife-point<br /><br />The two brandished stopped the couple, brandished a knife before the couple asking them to handover their valuables. The frightened couple gave away their 16-gram gold necklace, 12-gram chain, six-gram finger ring and 10-gram bracelet. <br /><br />In a similar incident, two men on a bike snatched away 16-gram gold chain from Krishnamurthy, a resident of Srigandhanagar, who was on his way to Male Mahadeshwara Hills. <br /><br />A senior police officer said that both the incidents have taken place in close proximity. <br />It is suspected that the same persons have committed the crime, as the modus operandi is similar in both cases. Rajagopalanagar police launched a search for the suspects.<br /></p>
