Disturbed by the ever increasing mounds of garbage at all corners of Bangalore, “300 Feet Eco Solutions”, a voluntary organisation set up by four engineering students, has set up dustbins in some parts of Jayanagar in the City.

Aditya Seshnath, Preetham Murthy, Ananth Nagaraj and Alex Cherian joined hands to provide a hygienic atmosphere, which was the identity of Jayanagar and now fading away rapidly due to the garbage problem in the City. As many as 40 bins have already been placed in Jayanagar 4th Block.

The students plan to place more bins in other parts of the layout as well. The four youths have set up dustbins, which will help gauge the type of garbage generated in Jayanagar.
In the coming days, the team has plans to instal separate trash bins for segregation of waste at source.
