<p>Bengaluru: <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/bengaluru-police">Bengaluru police</a> have arrested five people who were riding two-wheelers while brandishing swords and creating a panic among the public, police officers said on Thursday. </p><p>The incident occurred on the intervening nights of Wednesday and Thursday in and around DJ Halli and Ramamurthy Nagar, police officers said. </p>.Bengaluru police crack down on false FIRs.<p>Investigators have apprehended Nayeem Pasha, Arafat, Sahil, Najamath and Adnan, all in their 20s and residents of the city. Police have also impounded two scooters.</p><p>Investigations revealed that the arrested were recording reels for social media while holding swords, a senior police officer said.</p><p>Videos accessed by DH showed the arrested drive recklessly without wearing helmets and with two pillion riders on the scooters. </p><p>A case has been registered under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act. Further probe is underway. </p>
